Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your Olearno account or subscription, please send an email to hello@olearno.app with the subject line "Account Cancellation Request". In your email, please include:

  • Your account email address
  • Your school or organization name
  • Transaction ID or payment reference number (if applicable)
  • Reason for cancellation (optional, but helps us improve)

Once we receive your cancellation request, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of your cancellation request within 24-48 hours
  • Process the cancellation and confirm it via email
  • Deactivate your account - you will no longer have access to the platform or your data after the cancellation is processed
  • Initiate the refund process if you are eligible for a refund (as per our Refund Policy)

Cancellation Timeline:

  • Cancellation requests are processed within 2-3 business days of receipt
  • Account deactivation takes effect immediately upon confirmation
  • If eligible, refund processing begins within 7 working days of cancellation confirmation

Refund Policy

If you are eligible for a refund, we will initiate the refund process within 7 working days from the date we receive your cancellation request and confirm your eligibility.

Refund Eligibility:

  • Refunds are processed based on your subscription plan and the terms agreed upon at the time of purchase
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction
  • If services have already been utilized or delivered, cancellation may be subject to pro-rata charges based on usage
  • Refunds are subject to verification of account status and compliance with our Terms & Conditions

Refund Processing Timeline:

All payments are processed through Razorpay, our authorized payment aggregator. The refund process follows these timelines:

  • Refund Initiation: We will initiate your refund within 7 working days of receiving a valid cancellation request
  • Refund Confirmation: Once initiated, you will receive a confirmation email with the refund details
  • Refund Credit: Refunds will typically reflect in your account within 7-10 business days from the date of initiation, depending on your bank or payment provider
  • Processing Delays: In some cases, it may take up to 14 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank's processing time

Tracking Your Refund:

  • You can track your refund status through the payment confirmation email you received at the time of purchase
  • If you do not receive your refund within 14 business days, please contact us at hello@olearno.app with your transaction ID
  • For payment-related queries, you may also contact Razorpay support directly

Data Retention

After account cancellation, we will retain your data for a period of 30 days before permanent deletion. If you wish to recover your data during this period, please contact us immediately.
