Introduction to 1d Motion

We know that the planet Earth, and everything on it and around it, is continuously moving. The study of this motion is Mechanics. Specifically in this chapter we will learn about motion in a straight line. This is called Kinematics. By the end of this chapter we will learn about -

1. Distance, displacement, speed, velocity and acceleration.
2. What are scalars and vectors.
3. Graphing velocity and acceleration against time and calculating distance through it.
