Acceleration

What is acceleration

It is the answer to the question, how fast the VELOCITY is CHANGING.
When an object’s velocity changes, the object is said to be accelerated or to undergo acceleration.

How do we calculate accelearation?
$$Acceleration = \frac{Change in velocity}{Time}$$

Lets say the velocity when you started (initial velociy) was v0 and the velocity at the end (final velocity) was v1. Then the following formula will help you calculate the acceleration.

$$Acceleration = \frac{v_{1} - v_{0}}{Time}$$

Sometimes initial velocity is also represented by u and finaly velocity by v.
